My Story

I love stories.

Before they became something I analyzed, reviewed, and occasionally ranted about, they were simply somewhere safe to go. A place to hide when real life became too complicated.

I’m someone who avoids conflict, overthinks decisions, and has a long history of going along with whatever is easiest for everyone else. From choosing a college major to deciding where to work or what city to live in, I’ve let life make choices for me.

On paper, I’ve done a lot.

In reality, I haven’t done much living.

Except through stories.

Stories are where I get to be brave. I can travel to new countries, solve crimes, save kingdoms, and fall recklessly in love.

As a ’90s kid, my obsession began with Disney fairy tales. To a wide-eyed seven-year-old surrounded by dysfunction, those stories felt like courage, escape, and hope for the future. Even then, I knew I wanted to create that feeling for someone else.

Over time, my obsession expanded to novels, television shows, and dramas from around the world. No matter the format, the draw remains the same.

This blog is where I share all my strong opinions about the stories I consume.

What you will not find here are elegant, sugar-coated pieces. I wish I could be that restrained. Instead, expect thoughtful analysis with a little chaos.

And a lot of rants.

Think of this as part media analysis, part personal discovery, and part me interrogating fictional characters about their terrible decisions.

Join me as I explore the stories I love, the ones I hate, and the ones my heart most wants to tell.

Welcome.
